You charge the vacuum cleaner with a charging cable. The battery does not have to be in the device during the charging process. You can simply remove the battery and charge it at any power outlet. Alternatively, you can also charge the battery in the wall mount. Attach the included wall mount to the wall near a power outlet to charge your hoogo S6 in a space-saving way. With the exchangeable battery you can also vacuum while the other battery is still charging, thus doubling the runtime of the device.

The battery is fully charged again after a maximum of 5 hours. The LEDs on the battery indicate the charging progress. The more LEDs flashing, the fuller the battery. When all five LEDs light up for five minutes the battery is fully charged. For maximum battery life you should disconnect the battery from the power supply when it is fully charged.

The LED indicator on the battery has two functions. During charging it flashes to indicate the charging progress. All five LEDs light up continuously when the battery is fully charged. If the hoogo S6 is in operation and not connected to the power the LEDs serve as a battery indicator. The fewer LEDs that light up the emptier the battery.

The dust container can only hold a limited amount of dirt. You should therefore empty it regularly but at the latest when the suction power decreases or the bin is filled up to the Max mark.

To empty it simply remove the dust container, open the lid, and hold the dust container over a trash can. Now tap out the bin with light strokes and wipe with a dry cloth if necessary. Take this opportunity to check the filter on top and clean it if necessary! By the way, you can also completely remove the cyclone unit inside the container by lifting the metal handle and pulling the unit out upwards.

Regular cleaning is important otherwise the filter will become clogged with dust and obstruct the airflow. As a result, the suction power is reduced. To clean the filter simply remove the dust container. In the upper part you will find the blue rubberized filter. Remove the filter and gently tap it out or brush it with a soft brush. For example, the furniture brush is suitable for this. Alternatively, you can vacuum it with another vacuum cleaner.

You can clean the foam under the filter under clear, running water and then dry it completely or tap it out or vacuum it. - Replace the foam and filter afterwards.

To clean the dust container optimally you should also check the filter every time you empty it and clean it if necessary. To clean the filter simply remove the dust container. You do not need to clean any other parts. If you wish, you can also clean the dust bin with water. However, make sure that all parts are completely dry before you reinsert and use them!

Dirt can impair the rotation of the brush roller. We therefore recommend that you check it regularly and clean it if necessary. To do this switch off the hoogo S6 and press the lower lock on the suction tube to unlock the floor nozzle first. Pull the floor nozzle off the suction tube and loosen the roller attachment on the side of the floor nozzle. If it does not come off immediately you can use a coin to help you. Now you can remove the brush roller and clean it from dirt. If necessary, use tweezers or small scissors. To replace it close the lock and place the floor nozzle on the lower end of the suction tube.

No, you do not need a dust bag for your hoogo S6. Simply open the corresponding compartment, remove the container, and empty it.

This always depends on the frequency of use and the amount of dirt vacuumed. However, you should clean the dust container at the latest when the suction power decreases, or it is filled to the max mark.

When the battery is empty the hoogo S6 switches off. You can insert the replacement battery included in the box and simply continue vacuuming. You must connect the empty battery to the charging cable. It will be fully charged again after a maximum of 5 hours.
