Charging & Maintaining H5

The dust container can only hold a limited amount of dirt. You should therefore empty it after each use, but at the latest when the suction power decreases. The removable dust container makes cleaning very easy. Via the flap attached to the bottom of the container, it can easily be emptied over a trash can. The filter placed at the top of the container can be removed quickly and easily and only needs to be tapped out briefly or brushed off each time it is emptied.

The filter sits in the upper part of the dust container and is protected by a fine metal mesh, which prevents the penetration of hair and coarser dirt into the filter. Only fine dusts accumulate in the internal EPA-12 filter. When emptying the container, the filter simply has to be removed and briefly tapped or brushed and is then immediately ready for use again.

Soiling can affect the rotation of the brush roller. Therefore, we recommend a regular cleaning of the motorized upholstery & mite nozzle. Switch off the hoogo H5 and press the lock at the end of the handpiece to unlock the motor nozzle first. Pull off the nozzle and loosen the attachment of the roller on the side of the bottom nozzle. You can use a coin for that. Now you remove the brush roller and can free it of impurities. If necessary, use tweezers or small scissors. For insertion, close the lock again and place the nozzle on the lower end of the handheld vacuum cleaner.

No, you do not need a dustbag for your hoogo H5. Simply open the appropriate compartment, remove the container and empty it.

This always depends on the frequency of use and the amount of dirt. We recommend emptying the dust bin after each use and tapping out the filter briefly. This is quick and guarantees a consistently high performance. Alternatively, you should clean the dust container and filter at the latest when the suction power decreases.
