Do I have to program the route of the hoogo R2 robot vacuum with an app or remote control?

Our hoogo R2 has a simple, intuitive design that works without any programming function or a remote control. Thanks to its three cleaning programs, we ensure the robot cleans reliably and everywhere. Just turn it on – the rest is in the hands of the robot.

The vacuum robot is round – how does it clean corners and edges?

The hoogo R2 has two extra-long side brushes that sweep dirt to the middle of the robot, where it is vacuumed. That is how the R2 also cleans corners and edges reliably. And you do not have to vacuum there separately.

How well does the hoogo R2 robotic vacuum handle uneven floors and bumps?

The R2 can easily handle small bumps on the floor and adapts the suction port to the respective floor conditions thanks to the flexibly mounted Vacania™ technology. The suction canal raises and lowers itself according to the floor height. Due to this, there is no unnecessary suction loss as the suction port is always in optimal position.

What happens if the hoogo R2 robotic vacuum approaches stairs?

The R2 has integrated sensors that recognize stairs. Because of these sensors the hoogo R2 automatically stops and changes its route to a different direction. Additionally, you can adjust the stair sensors in sensitivity.

Where can I adjust the fall sensors of the hoogo R2 robotic vacuum?

Make sure the ON and OFF button is in position 0. Adjust the position of the slider to set the sensitivity of the fall sensors on the bottom of the device. To find, where exactly the slider is located, look at the handling manual belonging to the R2.

• Position 0 (smallest opening) for light floors and flat steps

• Position 1 for light floors and slightly higher steps

• Position 2 for dark floors and even higher steps

• Position 3 for dark floors and high steps

Does hair block the operation of the hoogo R2 robotic vacuum?

The suction canal in the hoogo R2 has no brushes. This has the advantage that no hair can get caught in the brush rollers and they do not have to be cleaned.

I have a dog/cat. Does the vacuum robot clean pet hair?

When cleaning regularly, daily or several times a week, the hoogo R2 reliably cleans human and pet hair. However, during a time pets shed their coat and particularly much hair accumulates, the hoogo R2 can reach its limits.
