Do I need to switch the nozzle as I switch between hard floors and carpets?

No, a switch is not necessary. You can effortlessly vacuum different floors, thanks to the natural bristles that glide over hard floors and short pile carpets.

Can I use the nozzle to vacuum hard floors and short pile carpets?

Yes, you can vacuum different floors with a nozzle without any switch. With particularly high pile carpets, you might need to reduce the suction power of the device, to make sure the nozzle glides well.

Does the nozzle pick up coarse dirt as well?

Yes, the extra-long natural bristles have coarse dirt channels, so even coarse dirt can be suctioned well.

Does the nozzle need special care?

No, there is no special care for the nozzle needed. If there is lint or hair in the nozzle, you should however remove that by vacuuming or plucking it off.
