Why is the brush roller turning slowly/irregularly?
First, check if the brush roller is dirty. Dirt can obstruct the rotating motion of the brush roller. You can find instructions on how to clean the brush roller in the handling manual.
Why does the vacuum cleaner only pick up a little dirt?
This could be due to three reasons.
Check if the dust container is full and empty it if required. You can read how to do this in the handling manual.
The filter is dirty. To clean the pre-motor filter, empty the dust container before taking out the filter on the cyclone unit. Knock out the dirt before rinsing it with clear water. Before putting the filter back in, let it dry thoroughly (it can take up to 24 hours on a heater or in the sunlight). Never put the filter back in while it is wet! While the filter is drying you can simply use the supplied second filter.
The nozzle used is not made for what is meant to be cleaned. Change to the right nozzle.
Why is there an odor while vacuuming?
Check whether parts of the dust container that were dismantled to clean the filter have not been correctly reinstalled or closed. Check if the equipment was connected correctly after changing it. Assemble all parts in such a way that a firm fit, and support is ensured.
